One of the webcomics I'm really loving right now is Daughter of the Lilies dotl.smackjeeves.com/comics/18…
It's set in a fantasy world and the main character, Thistle, is a part of a team of mercenaries. We don't know a terrible lot about her yet, but we do know she's a talented mage with a mysterious past. I decided to draw her relaxing with a good, thick book, as I bet that's one of her favorite things to do when she's not adventuring with her buddies.
I love the dynamic of the group, they're all so different! Thistle is mostly quiet and rational, Brent is loud and runs his mouth before his brain can caution him otherwise, Lyra is also loud and likes to poke fun at Brent, and Orrig, the leader, is strong, steadfast, and stoic. How's that for alliteration?
Wonderful characters aside, the comic is beautifully crafted. I really admire the linework, and the colors are just lovely to look at. It's a fairly new comic out there, so new readers can be caught up to present pretty quickly. I highly recommend it if you're a fan of fantasy, adventure, and really well-developed characters!
