Well, my work is up in my university's art museum, along with my bachelor of fine arts ladies! It was a long and hard road, but we did it! The show looks awesome, there's so much talent and passion there. I'm so incredibly proud of everyone!

It's nice to have some breathing room again. Now I have time to finish up classwork for the end of the school year (May 7th...eek!), prepare for graduation (May 19th), and take care of everything else that needs to happen before my wedding (May 27th - 37 days from now!). Oh, and pray like crazy that I get placements for my teaching internship for the next school year. That's currently a bit of a rocky situation and I'm pretty nervous. But, whatever happens, wherever I end up interning, it's where God put me for a reason. I just have to do my best with what He gives me.

Hope you all are having a lovely day!

Elwen Aldalinde translates to "Maiden tree-singer" in Tolkien's Elvish language. I loved sitting and reading in trees when I was younger, and thus, my Elvish name was created. I don't get to sit in trees very much anymore because I'm not terribly good at climbing trees, and sadly the trees around me aren't very good for climbing anyways. But I still read lots and lots of books!

My art comes from many places. I love traditional Fine Arts, as it's what I've been trained in for the past five years at my university, but I also love graphic arts and comics, and for that I've been self-trained. I love both worlds, and so I'm working towards being a teacher in order to share these worlds with anyone who is willing to learn.

So I was thinking today, after drawing a bunch of playful little sugar dragons, that they would go well with those Mischief critters you used to draw~ Maybe this calls for a collaboration? I'm gonna try to have my little ones posted soon.

In the end, they're gonna be turned into funky-shaped 'business' cards.

Ahhh they're so cute *squee*
